COMMUNITY BEHAVIOUR THERAPY SERVICES

Available to persons 7 years and older with a diagnosis of Developmental Disability or Autism Spectrum Disorder, residing in Durham Region.
Service is designed to assist the person to improve social awareness, assertiveness and to develop alternatives for challenging behaviours.
Individual interventions are based on functional assessments which enables the
establishment of meaningful, measurable outcome objectives for the individual.
Training in the use of behavioural strategies for persons within the individual's natural system of supports is provided.
