Fee for Service ABA Autism Services

In response to the recent announcement by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services Ontario Autism Program, Lake Ridge Community Support Services has developed a service to assist families during this transition in Autism Services. Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Services for children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder are  now available on a fee for service basis for children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder. These services are in addition to our current funded services we provide.

Families can purchase consultation or intensive ABA based services to assist children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder to develop skills in the area of emotional regulation, social skills, daily living, and communication skills. Services are provided by trained ABA clinicians that will work collaboratively with families to develop a service goal(s), completing a clinical assessment and developing a treatment plan for the identified goal(s). The following services are available:

Consultation Services

This short term consultative service assists children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder to develop skills in the area of behaviour management/emotional regulation, social skills, daily living and communication skills. Service includes:

  • Identifying one service goal with the child or youth’s family.
  • Completing a clinical assessment  and developing a treatment plan for the identified goal.
  • Working with trained ABA clinicians supervised by a BCBA Supervisor.
  • Weekly individual therapy sessions with the child or youth as well as parent training.
  • Provision of service is 3 months with a 3 month follow-up meeting after service completion.

Intensive Services

This longer term intensive service assists children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder, to develop skills in the area of behaviour management/emotional regulation, social skills, daily living and communication skills. Service includes:

  • Identifying service goal(s) with the child or youth’s family.
  • Completing a clinical assessment and developing a treatment plan for the identified goal(s).
  • Working with trained ABA clinicians supervised by a BCBA Supervisor.
  • 1 to 2 individual therapy sessions with the child or youth as well as parent training each week.
  •  Provision of service is 6 months with a 3 month follow-up meeting after service completion
