Practice Makes Confident: Social Skills for Everyday Life

A 12-week Social Skills Group is designed for children ages 9–12 who are ready to take their social learning to the next level with real-world practice.

Led by experienced facilitators, this group helps kids apply what they learn in meaningful, practical ways—while having fun and making new friends along the way. Through interactive lessons, group activities, and real-world practice during community outings, participants will strengthen conversation skills, problem-solving, teamwork, and friendship-building in everyday situations.

Program Details:

🗓️ Caregiver Session: September 16, 2026

🗓️ Client Sessions: September 15, 2026 to December 2, 2026

⏰ Schedule: Weekly on Wednesdays from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM (7:45 PM for outings)

📍 Location: 900 Hopkins St. Unit 8, Whitby, ON L1N 6A9

🕹 Community Outings: Community (Bowling, Laser Maxx + Playdium) *subject to change

💰 Cost: $2,157.93

🧑‍🏫 Led by ABA-trained facilitators with oversight by an RBA

Conversation skills – How to start and sustain a chat

Turn-taking & cooperation – Playing fair and participating in group activities

Emotional Regulation – Strategies for recognizing and managing emotions

Real-world readiness – Practicing skills in community settings
