Engaging ABA Group Program

Welcome to LRCSS Summer Group Programs, welcoming children and youth of various ages, looking to make connections and develop their social skills.

This program is designed and led by ABA-trained facilitators to provide a supportive and engaging environment, where children can learn and grow in various areas of social and emotional development.

Individualized consistent and structured support

Throughout the program, our ABA-trained facilitators will provide individualized support and guidance, teaching skills using clear instruction, role play, practice and feedback.

Each session spans a 3-hour block, offering ample time for exploration, learning, and interaction. The program runs for a total of 4 weeks, providing consistent and structured support throughout the summer.

3 Hour Sessions

Minimum of 4 Week to 7 weeks in Duration

Eligibility

Eligible children and youth will meet the following criteria.

  • Learning to use or has a form of communication

  • Can answer general questions within a topic

  • Show an interest in making friends and being near peers

  • Can sit in a group setting 

  • Will participate in group instruction for a minimum of 15 minutes

  • Have some tools to remain calm when upset and do not engage in unreasonable reactions to social conflicts (i.e. verbal outbursts, harm themselves, aggressive towards others, property destruction)
